Taknet Systems Pte Ltd established in 1994 as a software developer in the broadcasting and multimedia arena. At that time, we built small quantities of customized desktops and servers for our mainly government projects and for our corporate customers who needed high-end workstations and servers. Over the years, we have built our expertise to be a full service system builder and integrator with expertise in mission-critical and high availability servers and storage systems. We offer design, manufacturing and product life cycle management services for OEMs besides supplying to Systems Integrators, Solution Providers and Corporations. We have the flexibility that larger computer manufacturing companies do not; we cater to small volume production jobs that larger manufacturers refuse. We work with industry best for parts and components such as SuperMicro Computer Inc.(www.supermicro.com) and Areca Technology Corporation (www.areca.com.tw) for RAID solutions, especially RAID 6. Taknet was one of the first few Intel Premier Provider in Singapore when INTEL established the program in the year 2000. Intel Premier Providers are preferred vendors of INTEL technology-based solutions. These premier providers achieve preferred status with rigorous training and industry certifications. Today, our servers and workstations are sold under many different brands, including our own TAKNET & ReadyStor brand. In 2004, we incorporated our Malaysia branch, Taknet Systems Sdn Bhd (www.taknet.com.my), so that we can better our customers in Malaysia. Our showroom and offices are in Kuala Lumpur, Puchong (Selangor). This year 2009, we setup our rep-office in Australia and USA.
